After years of working with athletic populations, I have progressed to training students going through their pre-service firefighting programs. I have helped numerous individuals pass various physical and VO2 Max tests and also have helped candidates prepare for their academies with their respective departments.

I want to give you the tools to succeed in those testing environments and use the principles I share with you to succeed in your career, during your academy, and on the job as well!

I have helped over 53 people (as of March ‘24) pass physical tests for their respective careers.

  • “I got connected with Tyler last November after finishing pre-service and boy am I glad I did. Originally it was to get some training sessions in so I could prepare for the application process. But Tyler is more than just a strength and conditioning coach. He’s a life coach. Not only did we do many in-person training sessions, but he put a personal workout program for me to work on my own time, fitted to what I needed to get better at and help me train towards my goal of becoming a firefighter.     I had just finished pre service and the application and testing process was soon to begin. The program progressed to me being at my highest level of strength and cardio without becoming injured.   • “I started training with Tyler in August of 2019. I am a 68-year-old female with mobility and respiratory conditions. Tyler was interested in having knowledge of my background issues and he had great understanding concerning anatomy and physiology. I felt comfortable putting myself in his trust.

    We started out with small expectations and was careful to not exceed my limit. He always asked if anything hurt, he always stood close by in case l lost my balance. Gradually over the course of these months l have lost weight, improved my endurance, balance and strength. I can even do planks. That is amazing considering where l was months ago.
